In 2013 I was going through a major life crisis.  During one of my darkest moments, a dear friend of mine, who is also Reiki master, offered a session to me.  I accepted, feeling like it couldn’t hurt, and might help, so why not?

An hour later my life had changed.

At the time I had no explanation for what had happened – I had no frame of reference.  But in the days and months that followed, the universe opened up to me…or more correctly, I to it.  One hour of Reiki and a shamanic experience allowed me to shift in the most unexpected, beautiful and profound ways.  I never could have imagined.

Over the next year my awareness grew – my awareness of self, the natural world, and alternate realities.  I stopped believing in coincidences, and trusted the myriad divine synchronicities occurring all around me.  Life was amazing!

As my heart and consciousness opened, so did my connection to the healing power of Reiki energy and shamanic experiences.  I was challenged to question my life… to deeply contemplate the fundraising business I had taken more than twenty years to build, and the comfortable life I was living.  My choice was less of a decision, and more of a knowing – that Reiki and shamanic healing were my path.  For the next two years, I studied and practiced with two renowned teachers, and became a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner.

I was later guided to deepen my practice and became a certified Cranio Sacral Therapist, and immersed myself in the mystical healing practices of Peru and am a Mesayok medicine carrier of the Peruvian bundled mesa tradition.  My latest studies include Eden Energy Method and Healing Presence.  In addition, I am a Universal Life Minister and in my practice I incorporate many other healing modalities, including the healing magic of crystals, aromatherapy, and animal medicines.  I also make an Amethyst Biomat available during my sessions.

Today, in my practice I consider myself a facilitator to my clients’ healing.  We all have the innate power to heal ourselves… and just like my dear friend did for me years ago, I help my clients bridge that gap.

In my past life (during this incarnation), I graduated from Wittenberg University with a BA in Sociology and Philosophy, and served as a volunteer in the United States Peace Corps in Honduras.  During ordinary reality (i.e. when I’m not practicing energy healing), I’m blessed to head a direct response marketing agency that I founded more than 20 years ago to help non-profits raise money for myriad causes close to my heart, including social justice, homelessness, international blindness and malnutrition prevention, LGBT advocacy and services, mental health services, international human rights, reproductive health advocacy, among others.
